With a combined membership of over 13,500 individuals and 300 companies across 100 countries, the Energy Institute (EI) is the leading chartered professional membership body for those working in energy. The Essex Division's Chairman Mark Harrison hosted the 2008 Annual Dinner Dance at the new 350 seater function suite "The Grahame Thomas Pavilion"  which has recently been built in the grounds of Orsett Hall.
